A wall mural (often miss-spelt as muriel) is a piece of artwork that generally takes up the entirety of a wall. This can be inside or outside of a building and varies in size, from small spaces, to the size of an entire building!
Murals can be of any subject and there are often different styles depending on which artist you choose to have paint your mural.
The cost of a mural can vary greatly. It all depends on how large your wall is, how detailed your mural is and where in the country you are based.
For customers outside of the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire area there are mileage and accommodation costs to consider for murals that take several days to complete.
To help you calculate the rough cost of your mural, take the measurement of your wall length ( for example 4 meters) and your wall heigh (for example 2.5 meters) and multiply them. In this example, 4 x 2.5 meters is a total of 10 meters squared.
Typically, a mural can cost around £200 per square meter, so in our example, the mural would cost £2,000. However the cost per square meter can vary depending on the complexity or simplicity of your chosen design. If you aren't sure, please get in touch for a no obligation quote.
